The RAM Engineer will be responsible for creating and refining models for Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) in the Oil & Gas domain. With at least 8 years of experience, you will demonstrate expertise in developing RAM models and utilizing RAM modeling and analysis tools such as DNV-Maros, HBK-BlockSim, Bentley-ARMS, Isographs-AvSim, RAM Commander, PetroRAM, etc. You will conduct RAM modeling for Oil & Gas upstream projects aimed at enhancing system performance and reducing costs associated with equipment maintenance and repair. Prior experience in the Oil & Gas refinery or petrochemical industry is a must. This position is based in Vadodara, Chennai, with the option to work from the office.,

Job Title: RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety) Engineer. Role & responsibilities Experience in Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety Techniques, in Railways/Automotive/Mass Transit domains Support the development and implementation of the project RAM and Safety Plan and procedures. Analysing system Reliability by performing Reliability Block Diagram (RBD) based on redundancy models. Perform detailed Safety analysis using techniques such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Determining the safety level through hazard analysis and other assessment techniques Performing Maintainability analysis to calculate the MTTR or downtime of the system Performing Reliability analysis to calculate the MTBF of the system Estimation of Product Safety Targets as per CENELEC Standards Performing spare parts analysis to calculate the number of spares required and stocks recommended Performing Reliability prediction for electronics/mechanical systems using MIL-HDBK-217F, HDBK 217Plus, IEC 62380 or other standards Responsible for the preparation of Life cycle cost analysis (LCC) Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information Preferred candidate profile At least 2-3 years of experience on RAMS Techniques. Experience in the railway domain and with safety-critical systems will be considered an added advantage. Experience with RAM tools such as Reliasoft, RAM Commander, Isograph, or similar applications. Knowledge and experience in RAM and safety analysis methods, along with knowledge of engineering processes and standards, including the CENELEC EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129 standards. Right attitude, good teamwork skills and passion for your work. Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering/ Master in Reliability Certification in RAMS related field will be added advantage. Effective Oral and written communication skills Excellent relationship building skills Able to multitask in a team environment and meet objectives with a minimal supervision.
