As a Sales and Service Engineer specializing in the railway industry, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. Your technical expertise and sales acumen will be key in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the railway sector. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, promoting company products and services, and preparing proposals and sales contracts for potential clients. In addition to sales and business development, you will provide pre- and post-sales technical assistance, including product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and on-site support. Your ability to resolve customer technical issues efficiently and conduct product training sessions for clients and channel partners will be essential in maintaining high customer satisfaction and retention. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners will be crucial in understanding customer needs and recommending tailored solutions to enhance business value. You will also be responsible for managing and strengthening relationships with existing channel partners while identifying and onboarding new partners in strategic regions. Tracking and reporting on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback will be part of your responsibilities. You will ensure profitability by managing P&L for the assigned region and provide regular updates to management on business growth, challenges, and strategic initiatives. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics, Electrical, Automation, or a related field, along with 3-4 years of experience in technical sales, service, or business development within the railway, industrial automation, or electrical industry. Strong understanding of railway systems, automation technologies, and electrical components, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, are essential for success in this position.
