We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Driver cum Service Helper to support our field service operations. This role involves driving the field service van to customer locations and assisting service engineers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment. Key Responsibilities:Driving Duties:Safely operate the service van to transport service engineers, tools, parts, and equipment to customer sites. Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently and punctually. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, fueled, and in good working condition. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Service Assistance:Assist service engineers in handling tools, parts, and heavy equipment during service activities. Help with loading/unloading of machinery and equipment at customer sites. Support in basic maintenance tasks (e.g., cleaning parts, holding equipment, basic assembly/disassembly). Maintain cleanliness and order of tools and spare parts inside the van. Documentation & Communication:Maintain accurate records of van usage, fuel consumption, and trip logs. Coordinate with the service team for scheduling and routing. Communicate effectively with customers when required, maintaining a professional and courteous manner. Key Requirements:Valid commercial/light motor vehicle driving license (LMV). Minimum 1–2 years of experience in driving and/or mechanical service assistance (preferred). Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn technical tasks.
