Quality Control Engineer - Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessels Pune 5 - 10 years INR 4.0 - 6.0 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Candidates who have worked in Similar Industry on Equipment Like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns only shall apply. Profile: ASNT Level II (RT, PT, UT) Knowledge about inspection of fabrication & testing of equipment's like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Columns, Storage tank, Reactors. Awareness about ASME code sections related to construction of Pressure vessels. Knowledge of IBR & U Stamp requirements will be an added advantage. Review & follow of fabrication drawing, QA documents such as Quality Assurance Plan and inspection & testing procedures. Inspection of receiving raw material with respect to drawing, QAP & purchase order. Coordination with third party inspectors from TPI agencies for inspection Thorough Knowledge about welding processes and welding related documents like WPS, PQR, WPQ. Familiar with methods and usage of testing instruments like surface profile gauge, DFT meter, Ultrasonic thickness gauge, welding gauges & measuring instruments Witness of Non-destructive examinations & interpretation of results of NDE methods mainly LPT & RT. Notifying the Non-Conformance identified during inspection and recommending corrective & remedial actions. Conducting all stage wise & final Inspection activities with respect drawing, QAP & customer specifications. Preparing inspection reports as the QAP. Communication with clients, design department, production department.

Candidates who have worked in Similar Industry on Equipment Like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns & Vacuum Furnaces ONLY SHALL APPLY. Profile: ASNT Level II (RT, PT, UT) Knowledge about inspection of fabrication & testing of equipment's like Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Condensers, Columns, Storage tank, Reactors, Vacuum Furnaces Awareness about ASME code sections related to construction of Pressure vessels. Experience of inspecting machining parts like body flanges, tube sheets, and post fabrication machining of vacuum furnaces on machines like HBM, VTL, VMC etc. Knowledge of Helium Leak Testing (HLT) Knowledge of IBR & U Stamp requirements will be an added advantage. Review & follow of fabrication drawing, QA documents such as Quality Assurance Plan and inspection & testing procedures. Inspection of receiving raw material with respect to drawing, QAP & purchase order. Candidates having experience in a similar industry (Heat Exchanger & Pressure Vessels) shall only apply Roles and Responsibilities : Sales and Marketing Engineer of Process Equipment like Heat Exchangers, Reactors, Columns, Pressure Vessels. Shall have good industry connects. Very strong written, oral communication skills. Knowledge of costing for Pressure vessels, Heat exchangers, Reactors, Agitators, and Distillation Columns used in Process Industries like Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Petrochemical, Food, and Beverage. Ability to interpret engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, scope of works, etc. Mechanical Design knowledge of the above equipment. Knowledge of statutory requirements, U Stamp, TEMA, CE/PED. Feasibility study of manufacturing Knowledge of various materials of construction (MOC) used in fabrication. Knowledge of various manufacturing processes involved in equipment fabrication. Shall have good contacts with resources for raw materials, bought-out items. Knowledge for calculating project lead-time. Shall be able to calculate the manpower requirement for manufacturing. Shall be able to identify the Critical points in manufacturing and incorporate that in estimation. Shall be aware of commercial terms in quotations and proposals. Assist the Sales Team on technical matters and costing during the process of securing the contract. Attend the technical meeting with clients during the tendering process. Prepare handover report for the awarded project and follow through Post Order Correspondence Monitors current competitive prices, new techniques, and cost trends. Strong analytical capability and attention to detail within calculations, checking, and summarizing. Teamwork abilities.

Roles and Responsibilities : Production Engineer with knowledge of machining, minimum Exp 5- 10 Years in the field of Stainless Steel and Exotic Fabrication in Pressure Vessel and Heat Exchanger with knowledge in ASME code and all welding Procedure Monitoring the daily production Responsible for making Bar chart Responsible for Machine Maintenance Participate in the production planning Responsible for calculating project lead-time. Decision about manufacturing outsourcing process Prioritize the work orders Resource planning as per the defined standards Maintain cost of operations to the defined level Labor cost to be monitored to the budgeted level Maximum utilization of the utilities Teamwork abilities.
