Follow all safety protocols related to radiation exposure, ensuring that patients, staff, and self are protected at all times. Ensure that radiology equipment meets safety standards and regulatory compliance, including proper shielding and radiation safety procedures. Maintain accurate records of radiation doses and patient exposures as per hospital or regulatory requirements. Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other medical professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of diagnostic images. Assist in preparing images and reports for review by radiologists or physicians, ensuring all relevant data is included. Coordinate with other departments and staff to schedule patient exams and ensure efficient workflow. Accurately document patient information, procedures performed, and any special instructions or observations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
