Job Title: Radiographer Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, in accordance with established protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of imaging techniques, excellent patient care skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures. Interpret physician instructions and explain procedures to patients. Position patients correctly and adjust equipment settings appropriately. Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment. Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions. Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance protocols. Assist in training junior staff or radiography students as required. Qualifications and Requirements: Degree or diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging. Valid registration/certification with [e.g., HCPC, ARRT, or relevant local authority]. Proven experience as a Radiographer (minimum 1 years preferred). Proficiency in operating modern imaging equipment (X-ray, CT, MRI, etc.). Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. CPR or BLS certification is an advantage. Working Conditions: May involve standing for long periods and lifting or positioning patients. Shift work, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, may be required.
