Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Level 2

You will be joining Sanrad Medical Systems as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) Level 2, where your main responsibility will be to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to radiation safety in accordance with Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) guidelines. Your role will involve overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of PET CT scanners, as well as implementing radiation protection programs at customer sites. Your key responsibilities will include obtaining necessary approvals and licenses from AERB for the installation and operation of PET CT scanners, developing and implementing radiation safety procedures, conducting site radiation surveys, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, liaising with AERB and other regulatory authorities, providing training to staff and customers on radiation safety measures, and maintaining radiation exposure records and submitting periodic reports to regulatory authorities. To qualify for this position, you are required to have RSO Level 2 Certification approved by AERB (PET CT category), a Masters degree in Science/Engineering (Physics, Electronics, or related fields), and experience or be a fresher in radiation safety management. Additionally, good communication skills and a willingness to travel across India are essential for this role.
