Key Responsibilities: - Career Guidance and Counselling : - Provide career counselling and guidance to students on job opportunities, industry trends, and career paths. - Conduct workshops and seminars to prepare students for the job search process. - Industry Liaison : - Establish and maintain relationships with companies and organizations to secure job placements for students. - Understand the recruitment needs of companies and communicate these to students. - Placement Drives : - Organize campus recruitment drives, job fairs, and placement events. - Coordinate logistics for placement interviews and assessment sessions. - Student Preparation : - Organize training sessions on resume writing, interview techniques, and group discussions. - Assist students in creating effective resumes and cover letters. - Monitoring Employment Trends : - Stay updated on industry trends, employer expectations, and job market conditions. - Analyze placement statistics and prepare reports on student placements. - Collaboration with Faculty : - Work closely with faculty members to align curriculum with industry requirements. - Encourage faculty to involve industry professionals in guest lectures and workshops. - Alumni Relations : - Build and maintain a network of alumni for mentoring and placement opportunities. - Organize alumni meet-ups to foster relationships and gather insights on industry demands. - Documentation and Reporting : - Maintain records of student placements and employer feedback. - Prepare reports on placement statistics for the management and stakeholders.
