Raddis Cotton, a successful innovation in India with 5500+ farmers, is hiring a Sales Specialist - Cotton to scale the initiative.. Role Description This is an on-site full-time role for a Sales Specialist Cotton located in Vishakhapatnam. The Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving market development, customer acquisition, and sales growth for regeneratively produced cotton and cotton-based products. This role acts as a vital link between market intelligence, buyer engagement, and supply chain coordination, ensuring fair value for farmers while advancing the organization’s social and ecological impact goals. Key Responsibilities: Market Development and Sales Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with brands, retailers, textile manufacturers, and other potential buyers of raw cotton, ginned cotton, or cotton lint. Expand sales footprint across key geographies and customer segments. Promote the unique value proposition of regenerative cotton to differentiate offerings in a competitive market. Develop marketing collaterals; if required, pitch decks and fair presentations. Buyer Engagement & Relationship Management: Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with buyers to ensure repeat business and strategic partnerships. Facilitate on boarding of new buyers and ensure satisfaction through excellent account management. Conduct regular buyer meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close sales and contracts. Serve as the key point of contact for buyer inquiries. Supply Chain Distribution: Collaborate with operation, finance, certification, and logistics teams to ensure sales, compliance, and documentation. Facilitate mechanisms that ensure fair value to farmers while maintaining commercial viability. Maintain alignment between buyer needs and on-ground regenerative production, ensuring traceability and transparency in sourcing. Support marketing with success stories and testimonials. Market Intelligence & Strategy: Monitor industry trends, consumer preferences, policy changes, and competitor strategies. Generate insights and reports on market dynamics, pricing, and buyer needs to support strategic decision-making. Build strategic partnerships with textile mills, exporters, fashion brands, and sustainable fiber traders. Provide product feedback to teams to align regenerative practices with market expectations. Socio-Ecological Impact Contribution: Ensure that all commercial engagements reinforce fair value distribution and regenerative practices. Help quantify and communicate social and environmental impact to buyers and stakeholders. Align sales growth with impact metrics and certifications where applicable. Data Management & Reporting: Maintain buyer database and sales dashboards. Generate MIS reports and track performance metrics. Qualifications Graduate / Post-graduate in Agribusiness, Textile Management, Commerce, or Marketing. Min. 4 years of experience in cotton sales. Exposure to sustainable or regenerative cotton preferred. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and business communication tools. Proficient in Telugu and English.
