Job Responsibilities : The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for managing the highest level of prospecting and sales for EOL Automation & advanced warehousing automation solutions in the defined territory. This individual will need to obtain a vast knowledge of Signodes Automation and Warehousing solutions /applications. To promote and sell Signodes advanced and high-performance Automation solutions often linked with end of the line Packaging Automation. This position will be based out of Bangalore/South and the sales target will range from 40 to 60 Crs sales revenue per annum. Manage sales activity like prospecting, mailing literature to new/prospective accounts attending sales meetings, making product presentations to potential buyers. Develop leads and network of potential new business opportunities. The Job includes Presales activity like researching customer process & collect input data required for solution design, validation, preparation, and lead nurturing. Work with Solution engineering team to conceptualize and prepare a suitable/optimized solutions to offer to customers. Build strong relationship & engagement with all stakeholders including decision makers with Key Account Management process. Sell through a consultative and solutions-driven method to provide a comprehensive system/solution to our customers. Manage account receivables & ensure timely collection of due payments. Desired Profile : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic preferred or above With 3 to 5 years of experience Must live in the assigned territory, travel overnight. Knowledge of manufacturing industry & processes related to Warehousing processes - experience in ASRS and Automation business is preferred. Reports to Sales Head, ASRS / Automation Team Size Works with Sales team Travel 40 to 50%. Role & responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Develop project schedules, resource plans, and execution strategies for retail storage projects. Coordinate with internal teams design, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and installation. Client Management: Act as the single point of contact for clients from project initiation to handover. Conduct site visits, understand client requirements, and ensure compliance with SLAs. Execution & Monitoring: Monitor daily/weekly project progress, resolve site-level issues, and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Supervise installation teams and ensure proper deployment of manpower and materials on site. Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and manage project budgets. Track and control project expenses to avoid cost overruns. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all project-related documentation including BOQs, drawings, MOMs, and compliance checklists. Ensure safety protocols and statutory compliance at project sites. Post-Completion: Facilitate client handover and ensure project closure with proper documentation. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of retail storage/racking systems, shelving designs, and warehouse layout principles. Excellent project management skills with working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and AutoCAD (preferred). Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage vendors and contractors. Effective communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills. Familiarity with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and compliance protocols. Preferred Background: Experience in retail infrastructure, warehousing, racking/shelving manufacturing or integration companies. Exposure to multi-site project execution and client-facing roles.
