We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Structured cabling, CCTV installation & maintenance, and Desktop/Laptop troubleshooting. Your responsibilities will include ensuring smooth onsite deployments, addressing technical issues, and maintaining client systems to the highest standards. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining structured cabling (CAT6, Fiber, etc.) at client sites, setting up and troubleshooting CCTV surveillance systems (IP & Analog), providing desktop and laptop support, performing routine preventive maintenance of IT hardware and cabling infrastructure, handling network switch/router installation and basic configuration, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues, coordinating with vendors or internal teams for escalated technical problems, documenting and reporting service visits, customer interactions, and issues resolved, and ensuring adherence to service-level agreements and safety standards. The ideal candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelors in IT, Electronics, or a relevant field with at least 3 years of field experience in IT service or infrastructure support. You will be joining our team as a Network Engineer for Telco Data Center (DC) deployment at Nokia Gurgaon, India. With 8 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure for high-performance telecommunications environments. Your expertise in EVPN, BGP, IBGP, Leaf-Spine Architecture, and Rack Management will be crucial for this role. Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and implementing EVPN-VXLAN solutions, configuring and optimizing BGP and IBGP protocols, developing and maintaining a highly redundant Leaf-Spine network topology, and overseeing rack layout, cabling, and hardware installation. Ensuring Data center hygiene is maintained. Updating of rack diagram and updating and maintaining asset inventory. Reviewing of IMF for any new device movement into the data center. Undertaking escalations to respective teams in case of any DC related issues Logging calls in case of any amber LED indication on any of the devices in the data center and involving concerned YBL team.
