Roles & Responsibilities:A:Need to provide logical and/or application DBA support technical support, 24/7 for maintenance of oracle database systems within a defined operating model and processes.B :Write, review, and optimize application SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to ensure efficient data access and performance.C:Analyze slow-running queries and troubleshoot application-level database performance issues using logical techniques working with developers and application teams.D:Provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance Technical Experience:Perform SQL performance tuning and optimization for Oracle databases to enhance application efficiency.Review and fine-tune Oracle SQL queries, PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, and indexes to improve execution performance.Analyze inefficient Oracle SQL statements, complex joins, and subqueries; enhance Oracle execution plans for optimal results using database profiles and othersDiagnose and resolve Oracle database-related application errors and performance issues using Oracle tools (e.g., AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace).Analyze Oracle database usage patterns to recommend improvements to the logical data model and schema design.Design and maintain logical data structures, Oracle database schemas, views, PL/SQL packages, triggers and user-defined functions.Lead Oracle schema design initiatives to support evolving business needs.Collaborate with application developers to convert business requirements into efficient Oracle database designs.Define and enforce data validation rules, constraints, and referential integrity within the Oracle environment.Manage Oracle metadata, data dictionaries and representing logical structures.Provide logical database support for application development.Ensure that Oracle database designs meet performance, scalability, and maintainability goals.Write Oracle SQL queries to meet business and reporting requirements.Assist app developers with logical Oracle database tasks, including schema versioning, migrations, and validation testing.Facilitate promotion of logical Oracle database changes through environments (Dev, QA, Prod).Support logical components during oracle db migrations and version upgrades.Document Oracle logical database structures, data dictionaries, and ERDs for development and operational use.Support data validation and testing efforts within Oracle database environments.Assist in logical security tasks within Oracle , including role definitions, privileges, and access control at schema level.
