About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage our invoicing, accounts receivable/payable, and day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial transactions, timely billing, and compliance with tax and statutory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and issue customer invoices in line with company policies and GST requirements. Record and reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions. Maintain accurate ledger entries and ensure proper documentation for all financial records. Track payments, follow up on overdue accounts, and coordinate with customers/vendors for reconciliations. Process vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and petty cash transactions. Generate GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports and assist in timely filing. Support monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing and assist in preparing MIS reports. Coordinate with banks for payments, collections, and reconciliations. Work closely with internal teams (sales, procurement, operations) to ensure accurate billing and accounting flow. Assist auditors in internal and statutory audits. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in accounting/invoicing (manufacturing/SME experience preferred). Strong knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books / ERP systems. Familiarity with GST, TDS, and other Indian tax compliance. Proficiency in MS Excel and comfort with spreadsheets and reconciliations. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication skills for vendor/customer coordination.
