Job Title: Business Development Manager Industry: Foundry & Machining Location: Kolhapur Department: Sales & Marketing Reports To: Management Experience Required: 7 - 10 years (preferably in metal casting/machining or related engineering/manufacturing sectors) ________________________________ Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth in our foundry and machining division. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of industrial manufacturing processes, with a strong ability to identify new market opportunities, establish key customer relationships, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. ________________________________ Key Responsibilities: 1. New Business Development Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets. Develop and implement strategies to grow sales in the foundry and precision machining sectors. Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into long-term customers. Prepare compelling technical and commercial proposals in coordination with internal teams. 2. Customer Engagement & Satisfaction Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships through regular engagement. Understand customer requirements and ensure their expectations are met or exceeded. Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments (engineering, production, QA). Handle customer complaints or issues proactively to maintain satisfaction and trust. 3. Sales Strategy & Reporting Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline with accurate forecasting. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Track and report on key metrics (e.g., sales conversion rates, revenue growth, customer retention). Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company. ________________________________ Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field (MBA preferred). Female candidates can also apply Proven track record of business development in the engineering, foundry, or machining sectors. Strong technical understanding of casting and machining processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure. Willingness to travel as required (domestic and international).
