As a Biostatistician Technical Expert - Clinical Statistics at Sanofi, Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing statistical support for a team of senior and principal biostatisticians. Your responsibilities will include being accountable for statistical aspects and deliverables of several early/late phase studies, providing directions and guidance in project assignments, and interacting with other internal functions. You will also apply advanced statistical methods while ensuring scientific integrity to project work. You will support the clinical development plan, clinical study design, study setup, and conduct. Additionally, you will conduct or oversee the execution of statistical analyses, prepare statistical methods, and provide statistical insight for interpretation and discussion of results sections for the clinical study report and publications. As a biostatistical consultant, you will mentor junior statisticians and maintain knowledge of developments in biostatistics, clinical trial methodology, and regulatory requirements. Your role will involve proposing, preparing, and performing exploratory and ad-hoc analyses relevant to study objectives, as well as coordinating with study programmers for statistical analyses. You will contribute to process optimization, provide inputs to statistics and quality standards, and represent the statistics team in various initiatives. To be successful in this role, you should have 7+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a Master's degree or 5+ years with a Ph.D. You should possess a broad knowledge of advanced statistical concepts, strong project/study management skills, and proficiency in SAS and R languages. Additionally, experience in project management and development is preferred.
