Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Our company is growing rapidly and is hiring a full-stack Software Developer to support our AI/data solutions team. This individual will be part of a team that is using cutting edge technology to build solutions that work with large volumes of data across multiple platforms. They will partner with our team of data scientists, data gurus, and product owners to deliver products that will help drive decision making. Ultimately, this role will be responsible for translating business requirements and building machine learning models through all phases of development. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Full stack developer capable of developing data applications within Palantir Foundry Participation in user interviews to understand technical and customer needs. Creating and managing data modeling objects Analyzing data using tools like Code Workbook, Contour and Quiver Using workshop to build applications within Palantir Establishing data connections, building data health monitors, and analyzing data lineage Managing request for customer facing applications built within machine learning technologies. Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or other related field or equivalent work experience. 2-3 years of experience of developing applications within Palantir 2-5 years of software development experience 2-5 years experience in programming for large scale data analysis and data modernization Experienced in Code Repositories / branching strategies. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Hands-on experience with data science applications Ability to write scripts for data manipulation, transformation, and analysis. Proficiency in languages such as Python, Typescript, Pyspark Problem Solving Aptitude Continuously researches and evaluates emerging technologies. Excellent Communication skills Preferred: Strong background in the following areas: Experience in software engineering Familiarity with Palantir Ontology Software Development Kit (OSDK) Familiarity with Palantir Solution designer
