Purpose of the role: This is a critical role sitting at the intersection of product, category and growth functions. The person will be responsible for strategising and leading initiatives for growing our online channel. The incumbent will lead and conceptualize all cross category initiatives including but not limited to growth, assortment, pricing, monetisation and profitability. Take decisions and drive critical business metrics based on available data insights and prevailing market conditions. Principal Responsibilities: The principal responsibilities of this role will entail the following: Lead Monthly category growth initiatives and lead category expansion through new SKU introduction Lead Assortment selection and optimization efforts to drive topline Drive assortment mix on online channels to achieve margin goals, and ownership of promotions and pricing strategy across all online partners Conceptualize and drive initiatives to reduce wastage and dump in perishables business Plan successful execution of monthly and annual sales events by managing availability, stock and margin guardrails Knowledge / Education MBA preferred with 6-8 years of experience Analytical mindset with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making ECom/QuickCom/Retail experience is preferred Working knowledge of data analysis techniques and P&L analysis Competencies Influencing and negotiation skills Strong shopper consumer orientation Strong analytical and problem solving skills Collaboration Bias for Action
