As a Database Management Specialist at My Digital Shelf, you will play a crucial role in overseeing data handling, managing databases, and supporting data-driven initiatives for our conferences and the company. Your attention to detail, proactive approach, and experience in database management will be instrumental in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our data systems. Your responsibilities will include setting up and testing new database systems, monitoring performance and efficiency, and implementing improvements as necessary. You will be responsible for designing and preparing comprehensive reports for management, developing protocols for effective data processing, and creating complex query definitions for efficient data extraction and analysis. In addition, you will play a key role in training colleagues on data input and extraction processes, executing email marketing campaigns, and coordinating social media outreach initiatives. Your ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure will be essential in executing these tasks efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, you will be involved in coordinating logistics for events, maintaining event databases with meticulous attention to detail, and providing ad hoc support to company Directors as needed. Your excellent IT skills, organizational abilities, and strong interpersonal communication skills will be crucial in successfully fulfilling these responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should have graduated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, ideally Marketing, Social Sciences, Humanities, Languages, or similar.
