Job Title: 2D Draftsman – Commercial Interiors & Architecture Location: Kadavanthra Job Type: Full Time Experience: Minimum 2-4 years in interior or architectural drafting Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate 2D drawings for commercial interior and architectural projects using AutoCAD or similar software Interpret design sketches and convert them into working drawings and layout plans Create detailed drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details Coordinate with architects, interior designers, site engineers, and project managers to ensure drawing accuracy Revise drawings based on feedback from consultants, clients, and internal teams Maintain drawing documentation, revision records, and file organization Ensure compliance with applicable standards, building codes, and project specifications Assist in preparing drawings for statutory approvals and as-built documentation Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Interior Design or related field Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential), MS Office; knowledge of Revit or SketchUp is a plus Strong knowledge of detailing for commercial interiors (e.g., office spaces, retail, hospitality) Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings Attention to detail, good visualization skills, and ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of local construction methods, materials, and regulations is preferred Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Health insurance Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: total work: 3 years (Preferred) Shift availability: Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
