As a senior Java/VUE/Quasar Full-Stack application developer in the Network Automation team at LSEG, you will be responsible for developing software solutions for the automatic instantiation of network connectivity and network services such as DNS, IPAM, load balancers, and firewalls. Your role will involve translating user requirements for network services into actions on network infrastructure, ranging from simple DNS record allocations to complex configurations for network connectivity services applied to multiple devices. The development activities supported by the Network Automation team include the creation of front-end business-facing applications with APIs and Web UIs for users to request network services, mid-tier integration-layer applications to automate logic and workflow between the business front-end and network service layer, and abstract models describing network connectivity services and components. In this senior role, you will be expected to lead the development of software solutions to achieve LSEG's goals of fully automated network connectivity and service provisioning. This includes determining functional and technical requirements, designing software to meet current and future needs, collaborating with Product Owners on project planning, providing quality assurance, and developing system design diagrams and web applications. To be successful in this role, you should have experience mentoring junior developers, working with Internet technologies, designing scalable cloud-based infrastructure, and possessing strong object-oriented design and development skills. You should also have a track record of developing high-quality software products, expertise in Web Services protocols and distributed systems, and familiarity with IaaS and SaaS models. Experience with backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and frontend development using Javascript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Quasar is essential. Knowledge of version control software, SQL queries for PostGres, and agile development methodologies is also required.
