Key Responsibilities Workflow Coordinate daily litigation docketing workflows Troubleshoot questions and issues identified by Litigation Docket Specialists and practitioners Process communications sent to one or more department inboxes Act as back-up support for Litigation Docket Specialists Direct the daily clearing of critical deadlines Collaborate with Manager of Docket Operations to implement new policies and procedures Help manage calendar sync, MyView, and court rule modules within docket system Assist with quality control processes, system audits, and data clean-up projects Administrative Review timesheets each pay period Manage PTO and overtime requests Train new Litigation Docket Specialists Conduct annual performance evaluations with Manager of Docket Operations Transfers Assist in the coordination of incoming matters Partner with client teams to identify and calendar pending deadlines associated with incoming cases Facilitate the opening of matters with client teams and Records Department Create reports for outgoing transfers Work with Litigation Docket team to close and de-docket outgoing matters Other Duties Serve as a mentor for Litigation Docket Specialists Prepare custom reports for internal and external clients Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new technology solutions Stay informed of changes to US federal and state court procedures Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications "Who Are You?" Experience with IP litigation docketing a plus. Key Responsibilities Perform corporate research to identify corporate affiliates, principals, and nature of business in order to search and identify ethical and business issues in the firm’s conflicts database. Create conflict reports that identify and summarize issues relating to new clients, new matters, lateral attorneys, marketing requests, and special projects. Review and resolve various issues related to opening legal matters, including business conflicts, are of practice issues, billing and client credit issues, pro-bono related questions and internal Firm policies. Assist Legal Recruiting by summarizing conflicts and business issues, providing clearance assistance and requesting screens related to the onboarding of lateral attorney hires. Maintain current knowledge of trends and developments impacting the conflicts function. Possess knowledge of the Model Rule of Professional Responsibility that apply to conflicts of interest. Recommend new policies and procedures related to conflicts analysis and clearance, business intake and risk compliance. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications "Who Are You?" Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Two years prior conflicts of interest experience at a mid to large firm. Experience using computer database software preferred, especially Intapp Open. Must demonstrate ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Analytical and problem-solving skills required. Strong time management and organizational skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Internet search knowledge preferred. Business/Legal familiarity preferred. Must demonstrate a high degree of trustworthiness when handling confidential and sensitive materials. Excellent interpersonal relations, written and communication skills.
