Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Server Specialist, located in Kolkata. The Server Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining server infrastructure, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation. Daily tasks will include monitoring server performance, troubleshooting issues, performing regular updates, and implementing security measures. The role also involves collaborating with other IT professionals to support data management and operational needs. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and integrate AI server hardware and software components Ensure high-quality products through meticulous inspection and testing Collaborate with production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to server assembly Maintain accurate records of production and quality control Requirements: 4-5 years of experience in server assembly or related field Strong understanding of hardware and software component Excellent communication and teamwork skill Experience working in a production environment Ability to read and interpret technical documents (blueprints, schematics, etc.) Familiarity with quality control principles and procedures Technical Skills: - Hardware: - Server hardware components (CPU, RAM, Storage, etc.) - Familiarity with server assembly tools and equipment - Software: - Understanding of server operating systems and software configurations - Familiarity with AI server software and tools (optional) Key Knowledge: Familiarity with computer hardware components (CPU, GPU, RAM, Motherboard, etc.) Knowledge of component compatibility (CPU sockets, RAM types, etc.) Experience with cable management and cable ties Familiarity with static electricity protection (anti-static wrist straps, etc.) Knowledge of operating system installation (Windows, Linux, etc.) Familiarity with BIOS/UEFI configuration Experience with device driver installation and management Familiarity with screwdrivers (Torx, Phillips, etc.) Knowledge of wire cutters, strippers, and crimpers Experience with thermal paste application and CPU/GPU cooling systems Ability to identify and diagnose hardware issues Experience with debugging and troubleshooting techniques Familiarity with component testing and validation Knowledge of safety precautions when working with electrical components Familiarity with handling and disposing of electronic waste Attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to follow instructions and documentation Experience with working in a static-free environment Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or related field (preferred) Relevant certifications in server assembly or related field (optional) ITI graduates can also apply How To apply: mail your CV to manas@quantumtiger.in
