Job Description: Test Lead Automation (Java Selenium with Quantum Framework) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in Java Selenium using the Quantum Framework , along with proven leadership skills in managing QA teams. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Web UI, API, and Mobile automation , with the ability to design, implement, and scale test automation strategies while guiding and mentoring a high-performing QA team. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance feedback. Define and implement test automation strategies using Java Selenium with Quantum Framework . Drive end-to-end automation across Web UI, API, and Mobile applications , ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders (developers, business analysts, product owners) to ensure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements. Oversee test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting across different project phases. Establish best practices for automation coding standards, test data management, and CI/CD integration. Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones while maintaining quality standards. Contribute to test estimation, resource planning, and risk management. Stay current with emerging automation trends, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve testing efficiency. Required Skills & Experience 1014 years of overall QA experience , with at least 3–5 years in a lead role managing QA teams. Strong expertise in Java Selenium with hands-on experience in the Quantum Framework . Proven experience in automation of Web UI, REST/SOAP APIs, and Mobile applications (Android/iOS) . Experience in integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). Strong understanding of test design techniques, defect lifecycle, and QA processes . Hands-on experience with tools like TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, Postman/RestAssured. Familiarity with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket) and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
