You will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software in support of various projects. Your role will involve developing detailed CAD drawings and models based on project specifications, collaborating with engineers to understand design concepts, reviewing and modifying existing CAD drawings, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will maintain organized records of all drawings and assist in project proposals by providing accurate estimates of time and resources needed for CAD work. It is essential to stay updated on advancements in CAD technology and quantum engineering principles to enhance design capabilities. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar programs. Knowledge or experience in quantum engineering is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are essential. Effective communication skills to convey technical information clearly to team members and stakeholders will be crucial. While a degree or certification in engineering technology, drafting, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory.
