Quantity Surveyor & Tendering Engineer

As an experienced Quantity Surveyor & Tendering Engineer, your role will involve managing cost estimation and tender preparation for infrastructure projects in Chandigarh. You will need a strong background in civil engineering and experience in handling large-scale construction projects. Key Responsibilities: - Tender Preparation: Develop and submit competitive tenders for projects by analyzing project requirements and client specifications to ensure alignment with company capabilities. - Quantity Take-Off: Perform accurate quantity take-offs for materials and resources needed for construction projects, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all project components. Must have knowledge of BBS & BOQ preparation. - Cost Control: Monitor and control project costs during execution, comparing actual vs. estimated costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. - Contract Administration: Manage contract documentation and ensure all contractual terms are met, including compliance with regulations and industry standards. - Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding tender submissions and project costings, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction. - Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD. Key Requirements: - Experience: 1-5 years of experience in quantity surveying and tendering within the civil engineering sector. - Education: Bachelor's degree in B.Tech/B.E. with a specialization in Civil Engineering or a related field.
