Job Title: Asst. Manager - Quantity Surveyor (QS) & Tenders Key Responsibilities: Quantity Surveying (QS): Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bills of quantities (BOQs) from drawings and specifications. Track material and labour costs and compare actuals against estimates. Monitor and control project budgets, cash flows, and cost plans. Assist in preparation of interim and final valuations, client billing, and subcontractor payments. Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options. Prepare cost reports and maintain project-wise cost records. Coordinate with site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors to verify quantities and ensure cost compliance. Tenders & Estimation: Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and client requirements. Prepare comprehensive rate analysis and tender BOQs. Source and analyze subcontractor and vendor quotations for pricing. Prepare and submit competitive and technically compliant tender bids. Maintain a database of current market rates, vendor quotes, and past project costing. Coordinate with design, procurement, and planning teams for bid inputs. Participate in tender negotiations, clarifications, and post-bid discussions. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and project execution. Proficiency in estimation software like AutoCAD, MS Excel. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and coordination skills. Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. 06 - 08 years of experience in QS and Tendering within the construction industry.
