This role is a contract hybrid position for a Quantitative Developer at Emperen Technologies. The Quantitative Developer will undertake responsibilities pertaining to Trading, Quantitative Analytics, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, and Statistics. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining quantitative models and algorithms for trading, risk management, and financial analysis. The role also involves designing and constructing high-performance systems for trading and financial applications, collaborating with quantitative analysts, traders, and stakeholders to comprehend business requirements and translate them into technical solutions, writing efficient, robust, and well-documented code in C++ and/or C#, optimizing existing code and systems for enhanced performance and scalability, conducting thorough testing and validation of models and systems, contributing to the evolution of software development best practices, supporting the integration of new algorithms into existing trading infrastructure, conducting code reviews, assisting in troubleshooting, debugging issues in production systems, and participating in the documentation of processes and systems. Qualifications for this position include experience in Trading, Quantitative Analytics, and Quantitative Finance, proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and C# (Must-have), and experience in financial markets and derivatives. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of professional programming experience in C# or C++, strong expertise in implementing complex algorithms and high-performance systems, a solid understanding of efficient coding practices and optimization techniques, at least 3 years of experience in developing and supporting critical applications within financial institutions or in similarly complex industries, a good grasp of financial domain concepts, systems, and tools, familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in C# and C++, expertise in Algorithms and High-Performance Computing, experience with Financial Applications, knowledge of System Optimization, Fintech, Hybrid Development Teams, and Domain Collaboration. Preferred Qualifications consist of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field, experience with scripting languages such as Python, knowledge of database systems (SQL, NoSQL), familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and experience with Agile development methodologies.,
