You should have 3-5 years of experience in software testing and test automation. Your proficiency should include working with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, and TestNG. It is important to be familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and quality-focused development. Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills are required for this role. Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner would be a plus. As a clear and confident communicator, you should be able to effectively convey information both in written and verbal forms. You should possess a collaborative spirit with a drive to learn and grow with the team. In terms of bonus points (good to have), it would be advantageous if you have experience supporting or mentoring junior team members in basic automation tasks. An eagerness to explore new tools, trends, and testing frameworks is also appreciated.
