The responsibilities of this role include managing Quality System Management, Process and Product Quality, Team Leadership, Problem Resolution, Customer and Supplier Interaction, Documentation and Reporting. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems in compliance with industry standards. You will monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and reduce defects, oversee quality checks, and implement quality tools for consistent product quality. Additionally, you will lead a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians, provide training, and foster a culture of quality and accountability. Your role will also involve leading root cause analysis and corrective action processes for quality issues, collaborating with suppliers and customers to resolve concerns, and implementing preventive measures. You will act as the primary point of contact for quality concerns, work with suppliers to ensure quality standards are met, and support new product launches. Maintaining accurate records of quality inspections, audits, and corrective actions and preparing quality reports for leadership and corporate teams will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a Diploma in automobile/mechanical, along with 7-10 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment. Experience in a supervisory or managerial role and familiarity with automotive industry-specific standards are required. Proficiency in root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and data analysis is essential. Knowledge of quality software and lean manufacturing principles is also beneficial. This position is primarily based in a manufacturing plant with exposure to production areas, and occasional travel to supplier facilities or corporate offices may be required. The ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and ensure compliance with regulatory and customer audit documentation is crucial for this role.,
