Quality Production Leader

Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will support your team and its industrial partners in their projects towards operational excellence. Your main responsibility will be to improve the current processes using different problem-solving tools and methodologies. You will aim for operational excellence by identifying improvement opportunities to reduce costs and ensure long-term competitiveness and attractiveness. Your role will also involve ensuring the quality of products in line with standards before shipment, improving the quality system of suppliers, and preparing and planning factory assessments. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure the quality of the products in line and before shipment - Improve the quality system of your suppliers - Prepare and plan the factories assessment - Ensure that Decathlon Compliance standards and the local regulations are respected in terms of quality, safety, environment, toxicology, and social compliance - Improve and optimize the production processes - Follow up and support the factory to improve production efficiency - Homologate 100% of the product until Go Shipment - Monitor the quality performance in your perimeter - Detect unacceptable situations in your suppliers (E-points detection) - Manage your suppliers on quality through appropriate routines - Evaluate the risks and stakes in your suppliers and implement appropriate actions - Support your suppliers on fundamental control plans deployment - Drive your partners toward performance - Plan quality assessments in your supplier panel and promote self-assessments - Detect quality risks in your perimeter - Co-build your supplier control plan - Solve the problems detected in your perimeter through the DPS Methodology - Implement a risk analysis on your perimeter and manage your suppliers according to risks and stakes - Challenge your value chain to ensure the quality of the products and the quality of the process Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in quality assurance or a related field - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement improvement initiatives - Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with industrial partners - Familiarity with risk analysis and stakeholder management - Certification or training in quality assessment practices would be advantageous (Note: No additional details of the company were mentioned in the provided job description.),
