Quality Inspector

Qualification: BE Mechanical or Diploma Mechanical

Requirements in Brief:

In depth knowledge of Quality procedures, Quality Plan, Welding procedures, raw material inspection requirements, In-process inspection requirements, Heat treatment requirements, Hydro test requirements, NDE requirements, Final inspection requirements, Painting inspection requirements, Documentation and Quality dossier preparation requirements. Knowledge of NCR, root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions.

Job Profile:

• Conducts inspections in compliance with the Inspection and Test Plan and Material Test Plan
• Plan, execute, and inspect to verify conformance with specifications (Inward, In-process, Final)
• Maintain Calibrated Instruments for all instruments
• Investigate product complaints and reported quality issues to ensure closure.
• Develop or update company complaint and inspection procedures to ensure capture, investigation, and proper documentation
• Interpret, build upon, and comply with the company's quality assurance standards
• Record, Maintain and Close the complaint / nonconformity, with corrective action including root-cause analysis.
• Document quality assurance activities with internal reporting and audits.
• Read blueprints, SOP's, Datasheets, Instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies
• Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
• Select samples as per sampling method and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)
• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
• Prepare and submit reports Daily/Weekly/Monthly to the Manager.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
