Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Inspection and Testing:
Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Use precision measuring tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify product specifications.
Conduct tests to evaluate product performance, durability, and compliance with safety standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality metrics.
Prepare detailed reports on quality issues and communicate findings to relevant teams.
Ensure proper documentation of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective actions.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure products meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards.
Stay up-to-date on industry standards, quality protocols, and certifications.
Problem Solving and Improvement:
Identify defects, deviations, and areas of improvement in products and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in quality audits.
Safety and Calibration:
Ensure inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in proper working condition.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols during inspection and testing.
