Quality Incharge-Garment Unit

As a Quality Supervisor in the Sportswear Stitching (Garments) background, your role will involve checking each garment in the manufacturing unit for quality parameters related to stitching, design, and logo placements. You will ensure that garments are made according to the size guide and patterns. Your responsibility will include maintaining quality checks at every step of the production process, including Cutting, Bundling, In Line Stitching, and Finishing. You will also be required to appoint and train assistant quality supervisors to oversee each department and ensure that daily reports are generated and maintained as per management requirements. It is crucial to prevent any faulty garments from being dispatched from the premises and to conduct fabric checks for shrinkage and color bleeding before final production. Key Responsibilities: - Check each garment for quality parameters such as stitching, design, and logo placements - Ensure garments are made according to the size guide and patterns - Maintain quality checks at every step of the production process - Appoint and train assistant quality supervisors for each department - Prevent dispatch of faulty garments - Conduct fabric checks for shrinkage and color bleeding before final production Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in the Quality Department of the Garments industry - Preference for candidates from the Sportswear/Activewear industry - Experience in handling multiple styles simultaneously, such as T-shirts, Track Suits, Single Jersey garments, Trousers - Education background in BSC Textiles or National Institute of Fashion Technology preferred In addition to the job description, the company requires candidates to have the ability to commute or relocate to Jalandhar, Punjab.
