Role Summary We are seeking Marine Automation Engineers who are ready to sail and work onboard ships , providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for automation and control systems during voyages. This role is critical for ensuring vessel systems operate efficiently and safely while at sea. You will join voyages worldwide, working closely with ship crews and providing immediate technical solutions in challenging marine environments. Responsibilities Sail onboard ships to perform real-time troubleshooting and repair of automation and control systems. Maintain and calibrate marine PLCs, sensors, actuators, and monitoring systems during voyages. Assist in commissioning and testing of vessel automation systems at sea. Monitor and record system performance, making adjustments for operational efficiency. Coordinate with ship’s engineering team for smooth integration of control systems. Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, and classification society standards while onboard. Prepare detailed voyage service reports and maintenance logs. Qualifications Education: Degree in EEE, ECE, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Hands-on experience with shipboard automation, control, and monitoring systems . Familiarity with PLC programming, SCADA systems, and marine communication protocols. Valid STCW basic safety training (preferred) and willingness to obtain required sailing documents. Willingness to travel and stay onboard ships for extended periods . Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure, real-time situations. Excellent teamwork and communication skills in multicultural environments.
