As a Product Quality Supervisor (GIS Switchgear) in our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of High Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) for Export Markets. We are seeking a highly agile and solution-oriented professional who can exceed business expectations in a deadline-driven environment, all while aligning Siemens solutions with customer needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting in-process and final inspection of GIS. - Managing process-level documentation and recordkeeping. - Planning and controlling monthly and daily testing in line with turnover targets. - Organizing, monitoring, and overseeing the testing area to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. - Providing technical and quality support to technicians and coordinating with support functions to address issues. - Monitoring key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to resolve or prevent problems. - Facilitating meetings with team members to discuss production operations, safety, and quality issues. - Participating in Gemba meetings, Quality Gemba, 5S audits, and Safety Meetings. - Planning, assigning, and supporting the training and development of employees. - Leading and executing improvement projects and activities. - Monitoring employee performance and conducting growth discussions. - Managing internal and external ISO audits, including documentation, processes, and employee training. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. - 5-8 years of successful experience in a related field, demonstrating key responsibilities and knowledge outlined in the job profile. - Proficient written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in English. This position is based in Aurangabad, with opportunities for travel to other locations in India and beyond.
