Job Description

The role of a Quality Engineer (Tester) is essential in enabling full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. As a Quality Engineer, you will perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Your responsibilities will include creating automation strategy, automated scripts, and supporting data and environment configuration. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, monitor, and report defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. To excel in this role, you must possess strong skills in SAP for Utilities Energy Data Management Device Management. It is mandatory to have a minimum of 5 years of experience in this field. Educational qualification required is 15 years of full-time education. While good to have skills are not specified, experience with Selenium, Appium, and JMeter will be an added advantage. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Packaged Application Development projects. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues will be crucial. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and JMeter. Continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite will be an ongoing activity. Furthermore, your role will involve participating in code reviews, monitoring, and reporting defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. In terms of professional and technical skills, you should have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes. Experience with test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, and Confluence is desired. Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies will be beneficial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.,
