Your role as an Automation Engineer will involve the following key responsibilities: - Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, UiPath, or other relevant tools. - Write, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using tools like Cucumber. - Design and develop automated test cases to ensure software functionality and quality. - Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines. - Utilize test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, or HP ALM for defect tracking and reporting. - Identify and resolve issues in automation scripts to improve test efficiency. - Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance test automation coverage and performance. - Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to debug and optimize test scripts. Qualifications and Skills required for this role include: - 2+ years of experience in automation testing and framework development. - Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium, UiPath, or similar. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript. - Hands-on experience in BDD methodologies (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow). - Experience in test case development and execution. - Knowledge of test management tools (JIRA, TestRail, Bugzilla, HP ALM). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Nice to have qualifications and skills: - Automation testing certification (e.g., ISTQB Automation, UiPath Certification, Selenium Certification). - Experience with API automation testing. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
