Quality Engineer

Role & responsibilities

To monitor the Quality Check points in Process from Mixing to Assembly Line, Identification the Gap & Next Improvement points. Analysis the Rejection, Root cause analysis and work on improvement items in terms of such a way that both short-term and long-term Quality objectives are reached by control the 4M on shop floor. By participating in the management goals to reach the total objectives through an optimum use of resources.

Job Responsibilities
-The Process & 4M Check Quality Engineer is responsible for In House Process Verification, 4M Change Point Control by working on Shop floor with dedicated team & Improvement in terms of SQCD. Following are major activities. • To Check Shop floor Process & control the change point, ensure all process running as per standard, Rule & procedure. • Together with production shop floor and Management- To check and review measurable objectives, Analysis skill for the Identified Gap, Implementation check with Concern Departments. • Responsible for identifying and implementation of customer requests within internal quality processes & make them fulfil with Shop Floor & Management support. • Internal Rejection Handling, Improvement and achievement of Quality results through PDCA Activity. • Regular Monitor through process & product Audit & actual work check on shop floor. • Implement the system for NG Occurrence & stop outflow of NG in next process. • Responsible for managing the on boarding of new Projects Mass production Trials. • To ensure the long-term survival of the Supplier Improvement through a demonstrated effort to develop the qualifications of the staff as well as to acquire productive and flexible environment. - Important external contacts • Customers: Support of the Production & Customer Quality in quality related issues. • Suppliers: Production process, Incoming QC

Preferred candidate profile

• Education: B.Tech /Diploma a minimum of 5-7 years exp. in automotive industry.
• Experiences and skills: Working in production-oriented companies of Rubber Molding & Assy Related having MSIL & HCIL Customer. • Having Knowledge of IATF, ISO, and VSA Requirements. • Having Knowledge of Problem Solving Quality Analysis Tools • Special requirements: Ability to produce good written reports & power point. • Have a good command of spoken and written English. • Why-2 Analysis, 8D, Defect Countermeasure, 4M, 3G, 3M & 5S.
