Key Responsibilities

• Data Management Strong understanding of data management principles and migration project architecture. Work with multiple databases (SQL, NoSQL) and data formats (CSV, JSON, XML).
• ETL Testing Perform ETL validations across different data sources, verify business rule transformations, and validate ETL tool outputs.
• Programming Skills Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala with Spark. Experience with Bash/PowerShell scripting for automation is an added advantage.
• SQL Expertise Ability to write complex SQL queries, optimize performance, and work with database indexing.
• Testing Principles Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC, Agile/Scrum, test planning, test case design, and execution.
• Data Visualization Create insightful reports/dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib (Python) for presenting test results.
• Automation & CI/CD Experience with automation frameworks, test data provisioning, and CI/CD pipelines (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Cloud & Big Data Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Python, and Spark for large-scale data processing and validation.
• Domain Knowledge Familiarity with retail domain to design accurate and relevant test scenarios.
• Collaboration Strong communication skills to work with developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders, including explaining technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Problem Solving Strong analytical mindset for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving complex data-related issues.
• Test Management Tools Working knowledge of tools like JIRA for tracking and reporting.
