As a qualified candidate for this position, you should have a BE/B Tech degree in Mechanical or Automobile engineering. Your role will involve handling various Line Quality issues, Inspection of Parts, Quality defect analysis, and Process Audit at the Supplier end. You will be responsible for troubleshooting Brake/Suspension related failures and defects both in-house and in the market. Additionally, you will need to analyze Line parts quality concerns and implement countermeasures, conduct Vendor process audits, and work on improving processes. Your tasks will also include the development and evaluation of Quality parts, requiring a good working knowledge of Brake system parts, Gauges, Jigs, Fixtures, Test Rigs, End of Line Testers, Leak testing Equipment, MIG welding, and Spot welding. It is essential to have a strong understanding of the Production Process, including Quality controls. You will be expected to perform root cause analysis and plan countermeasures for Brake System/Suspension System parts, both in new development and regular mass production. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in planning for zero defect production lines setup at Vendors, conducting PFMEA, and planning required actions with vendors. Your responsibilities will also include Advance Quality planning for new parts development, Capability & Skill development, and training subordinates in various competencies. To excel in this position, you must possess hands-on skills for quality evaluation of Brake parts, including the use of inspection instruments, End of Lines Tests, Leak testing Equipment, and gauges. An understanding of Brake & Suspension parts manufacturing processes and best practices is crucial. You should be proficient in analyzing and identifying root causes of Quality issues, and have practical experience with Quality Control Tools such as APQP, FMEA, Control plan/SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, etc. Moreover, the ability to handle customer inquiries and train and develop skills in subordinates will be key competencies required for this role.,

Attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively are crucial for this role.
