Job Description

Role Overview: As a Final Garment Inspector, your main responsibility is to ensure the quality and integrity of the garments before they are delivered to the customers. You will be involved in inspecting various aspects of the garments to meet the required standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction by delivering products of high quality. Key Responsibilities: - Inspect for any fabric defects such as holes, stains, uneven dyeing, or damage to the fabric structure. - Check stitching and seams for proper stitch length, seam alignment, and strength to prevent unraveling. - Verify that all garment measurements match the specified size and pattern. - Test the functionality of accessories including zippers, buttons, snaps, and other components to ensure they function correctly. - Ensure color consistency by checking for variations between garments and against the color standard. - Identify and categorize defects as critical, major, or minor based on their impact on the garment. - Verify that garments are properly packaged with correct labels and information. - Conduct visual inspections to detect any visible flaws like uneven hems, loose threads, or misaligned patterns. - Ensure compliance with industry standards regarding safety and quality. Qualifications Required: - Previous experience in garment inspection or quality control is preferred. - Knowledge of fabric types, stitching techniques, and garment construction. - Attention to detail and ability to identify defects accurately. - Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively. - Familiarity with industry standards for quality and safety. - Ability to handle customer visits, grievances, and communication on Corrective Action Plans (CAP).
