Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Daily basis operations of Quality department, having major involvement in Systems,

Documentations, QA activities and QC projects

• Ensure that our company's products and services meet the highest quality standards
• Define and specify activities, processes, and standards to fulfil the quality requirements for a

manufactured material, component, or product, and to ensure compliance with industry

standards and customer requirements

• Build and maintain the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the

timely delivery of quality products

• To ensure the plant GMP conditions as per norms and conduct routine GMP and Internal

audits and close the identified gaps.

• To ensure that QA activities of plant are performed well and all records maintained.
• To ensure that all the lab equipment, measurement devices are calibrated and running

efficiently.

• To prepare, amend and review all the system related documents including Manuals, SOPs,

Work Instructions, Formats, Specifications (RM - electrical & mechanical, FG, Chemicals,

utility items, PM or other applicable consumables).

• Handle Internal, Customer and Certification audits as per schedule and maintain the track

records of all the audits conducted along with status of NCs.

• Handle customer complaints, their timely closure with detailed RCA/CAPA in place and keep

trend updated.

• To execute Root Cause Analysis and establish CAPA for any raised Non-conformity relevant

• Conduct supplier and Co-man audits as per schedule and instructed by Manager Quality.
• Routinely make performance review of all the suppliers, service providers and keep the

approved supplier list updated.

• Conduct and ensure traceability, mock recall and actual recalls. Ensure all the logs and

records are in place and updated.

• To handle major QC projects, new equipment installations and timely AMC of applicable

equipment

• Audit the existing Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) in the

organization. Manage external auditors by Registers and Customers.

• Conduct trainings as per annual training plan and ensure all departments are covered with

adequate man-hours.

• EHS activities and safety engagement data driving
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate quality-related information and

provide recommendations for corrective actions

• Train and educate personnel on quality control processes and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and supply

chain, to resolve quality-related challenges and promote a culture of quality excellence

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering

• 2 to 3 Years experience in a production environment

• Proven experience in quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering

environment

• Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., statistical

process control, Six Sigma, Lean)

• Proficiency in using measurement and inspection equipment

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Knowledge of quality control principles and techniques

• Knowledge on relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices

• Strong understanding and the implementation knowledge on ISO 9001, 14001, & 45001

• PC experience in a Microsoft Windows environment, proficient with internet e-mail, Microsoft

Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook and other software

• Expertise in Writing reports, business correspondence and presentations

• Proficiency in ERP will be an added advantage

• Trained Quality System Lead Auditor and instructor for Quality
