The position of WTP Chemist is currently open at our manufacturing facility in Dera Bassi, Mohali. As a WTP Chemist, you will be responsible for analyzing water and effluent samples, ensuring compliance with environmental standards, and optimizing chemical processes in our treatment plants. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field, along with 1-3 years of experience in a similar field. Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, chemical analysis techniques, and environmental regulations related to water quality is essential. Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment and instrumentation for chemical analysis, as well as excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills are also required. Key responsibilities of the WTP Chemist include conducting analysis of water treatment plant (WTP) and effluent treatment plant (ETP) samples, monitoring and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, performing chemical tests and experiments to evaluate water quality and treatment efficiency, maintaining accurate records of analyses for reporting, collaborating with the production team to optimize chemical processes, and troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to chemical processes in WTP and ETP. The successful candidate will be offered a salary ranging from 25,000 to 27,000 per month. The position requires a strong understanding of water treatment, chemical analysis, laboratory skills, safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance related to WTP and ETP operations.
