Role Overview: QA Tester

We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-driven QA Tester to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of our mobile and web applications. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, collaborating closely with developers and the product team to deliver a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Create, maintain, and execute test cases for mobile (Flutter) and web (React) applications.

Perform manual and automation testing across platforms (Android, iOS, Web).

Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like Jira or ClickUp.

Perform regression, functional, UI, and performance testing.

Work with developers and designers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Test backend APIs using Postman or similar tools.

Collaborate during product planning and sprint meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech, BCA, MCA preferred).

2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in QA/testing roles for web and mobile applications.

ISTQB Certification or any equivalent QA certification is a plus.

Key Skills

Testing Methodologies: Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing, regression, functional, smoke, sanity, UI/UX, performance, and cross-browser testing.

Tools & Technologies:

Manual Testing: Jira, ClickUp, Bugzilla, TestRail

Automation: Selenium, Appium, Cypress, Playwright

API Testing: Postman, Swagger

Performance Testing: JMeter, LoadRunner

Mobile Testing: Android/iOS device testing, BrowserStack

Programming Basics: Understanding of JavaScript/Java/Python for writing basic automation scripts.

CI/CD & Version Control: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent attention to detail and documentation

Good verbal and written communication

Ability to work independently and collaborate in Agile/Scrum environments

Previous Experience

Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of relevant QA experience with a strong background in testing modern web and mobile applications. We are specifically looking for candidates who have:

Experience working on e-commerce platforms, marketplaces, or large-scale consumer apps.

Hands-on experience in mobile app testing (Android & iOS), preferably on apps developed in Flutter.

Experience with frontend and backend testing, including REST API validation and integration testing.

Proven track record of identifying bugs early, suggesting usability improvements, and collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality releases.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and QA demos.

Exposure to automation frameworks and writing test scripts is a strong plus.
