Quality Assurance Executive

Detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Executive with hands-on experience in the garments and innerwear manufacturing sector. Skilled in finished, semi finished garments, Innerwear & fabric inspection, inline and final quality checks, fit evaluation, and adherence to buyer standards. Strong knowledge of innerwear construction, trims, elastics, cups, and sewing techniques. Adept at identifying defects, documenting quality findings, and coordinating with production teams to ensure consistent product quality and timely delivery.

Note : Candidate Must have hands on Experience in Apparel QA Profile.

Core Competencies

• Fabric and material inspection (GSM, shrinkage, stretch recovery, shade variation)
• Inline, mid-line, and end-line inspection.
• AQL-based final audits.
• Measurement and spec verification.
• Fit and size-set evaluation.
• Understanding of innerwear components (elastic application, lace attachment, cup setting, gusset placement)
• Defect identification and classification (critical/major/minor)
• Report preparation and documentation.
• Process monitoring and corrective action follow-ups.

Technical Knowledge

• Machines: Overlock, Flatlock, Zig-zag, Bartack, Single Thread
• Standards: AQL, buyer-specific quality manuals.
• Testing Skills: Colorfastness, seam strength, appearance tests, pilling.
• Tools: Measurement tapes, fabric GSM cutter, shade cards, quality checklists.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fabric and trim inspection before bulk production.
• Perform inline checks to monitor stitching quality, seam performance, elastic tension, and component accuracy.
• Compare bulk production with approved PP and SMS samples.
• Verify measurements and ensure garments meet technical specs.
• Assist in fit sessions and record fit comments.
• Inspect final packed goods for packaging accuracy, labelling, barcodes, and presentation.
• Maintain defect logs and prepare daily quality reports.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of quality standards for sensitive/skin-contact products.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and high-volume production.
• Problem-solving mindset with a focus on root-cause analysis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
