Job Description

What the role offers: Performance testing, profiling, and benchmarking efforts for new and existing products and services. Identify performance bottlenecks and work closely with the development team to propose and implement optimization solutions. Develop and execute load, stress, and scalability tests to ensure that systems can handle high traffic and user loads. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance goals and ensure that performance is a key consideration throughout the development lifecycle. Build and maintain automated performance testing frameworks and tools to continuously monitor the performance of systems. Generate detailed performance reports, including recommendations and root cause analysis for performance issues. Conduct performance tuning for databases, servers, and cloud services. Analyze system behavior, identify areas of improvement, and make proactive recommendations for performance enhancements. Stay up to date with emerging performance testing tools and methodologies and drive their adoption. What you need to succeed: Strong knowledge & practical experience in using test design techniques and software testing. Strong Knowledge/practical experience of working in Agile projects. Experience in end-to-end testing of applications as well as system software applications on Windows (Additionally on Linux or Unix operating systems preferred) Installation/configuration/administration skills of one or more of Windows, Unix, Linux Operating systems Automation: Exposure to scripting languages - Python, Perl, Shell, or programming languages like C/C++/Java Exposure to Databases like Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQL ONE LAST THING: You are persistent and inquisitive. You have to understand why things are happening the way they are. You are determined to understand cyber attack techniques at a very detailed level. You are a self-starter who is able to work with minimal management, however have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work together with several other professionals from other information security fields. Youre a creative thinker who wants to answer the question, Why? Your workstation is a pyramid of monitors that you can't take your eyes off of at the risk of missing something. You have a desire to learn new technologies. Your sense of humor, passion and enthusiasm shines through in everything you do.
