Quality Assurance Engineer (Manual Testing)

As a Test Engineer at Interactive Brokers Group, Inc., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software releases during product development. Your responsibilities will include: - Testing software releases and reporting test results accurately. - Entering problems and issues into the bug database and monitoring/updating bug reports. - Configuring hardware and software environments as necessary for testing. - Assisting and mentoring Associate Test Engineers. - Providing technical expertise on products, operating systems, and specialized environments. - Writing or contributing to the development of test plans and procedures. - Managing the defect database under the guidance of the Test Lead. - Reviewing test processes as they are developed. - Mobile testing experience will be advantageous. Minimum qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, physical science, or engineering. - Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
