Quality Assurance

You are a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 1-2 years of experience, sought after to join our growing team at Dzylo. Your role as a QA Engineer is crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. Your responsibilities will include performing thorough manual testing of mobile and web applications to identify and document defects. You will also be developing, executing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Automating API testing using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency is an essential part of your role. Collaboration with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide timely feedback is expected. Additionally, identifying, reporting, and tracking bugs and issues through to resolution, participating in code reviews, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies are key responsibilities. Maintaining detailed and organized documentation of test results, test plans, and testing procedures is also part of your role. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies in QA and software testing is essential. To be successful in this role, you should have 1-2 years of experience in manual testing, proficiency in Python for automating API testing, a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies, experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, along with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, familiarity with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms, knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and an understanding of RESTful APIs and web services testing are also required.
