Role Overview: As a Quality Assurance Analyst and Trainer for Medical Coding at LexiCode, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team of coding experts committed to providing top-notch coding services to clients. Your main responsibility will involve reviewing assigned medical codes to ensure accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines and regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Thoroughly analyze medical records to identify relevant diagnoses and procedures. - Review medical codes for accuracy, ensuring they align precisely with clinical documentation. - Maintain the integrity and precision of coded data. - Keep updated on evolving coding guidelines, regulations, and industry best practices through continuous research. - Participate actively in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives to uphold and enhance coding accuracy standards. - Meet productivity levels while adhering to coding quality and efficiency benchmarks. - Uphold strict patient confidentiality and privacy standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Qualification Required: - Possession of AHIMA credentials such as CCS or AAPC credentials like CPC or CIC. - Minimum 1 year of experience in coding or QA for ED Facility, Profee, and E/M. - Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and PCS coding systems with comprehensive knowledge of guidelines and conventions. - Ability to use coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively. - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex medical documentation accurately. - Attention to detail to ensure precision and accuracy in all coding assignments. - Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare professionals.,
