Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Selenium with Java.
• Create, execute, and manage automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects; participate in root cause analysis and provide detailed reports.
• Ensure test automation best practices are followed and contribute to continuous process improvement.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Stay updated on test automation trends and best practices, and proactively suggest process improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest QA tools, technologies, and trends.
• Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter for load and stress testing.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior team members in test automation practices and tools.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA Automation with Selenium and Java.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
• Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
• Expertise in testing and automation using tools such as Postman, REST/SoapUI, or similar.
• Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo).
• Good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Expertise in
